Have you ever wanted to create tasty desserts that meet the nutritional requirements of a diabetic?  Join our baking instructor to explore recipes that incorporate healthy ingredients that make desserts for diabetics taste good and provide healthier alternatives. Our baking instructor will discuss the different sugar substitutes and their effects on baking and your body. Class participants will make a variety of delicious, low-carb desserts that will impress everyone in the family.

Objectives

Students will :

  • Learn about the different sugar substitutes and their effects on the body and in baking
  • Learn how to prepare a variety of delicious, lower carb, diabetic desserts

Content

  • Pound cake made with Greek yogurt
  • Cheesecake made with no sugar added
  • Strawberry Chantilly cream made from Greek yogurt
  • One more additional diabetic recipe
