The Process of Aging

Description

What is aging exactly?  Can we slow the aging process? How can we help a loved one cope with the loss of independence? In this course we'll explore these as well as the physical, psychological and social questions  of aging and how they affect all of us.  This survey class will prepare you to understand the needs and hopes of those older adults who you work or live with. *This class meets the elective requirement for the Aging Studies Certificate.
