Informer is a reporting tool used to extract information from the Colleague system.  Entrinsik Informer provides simultaneous access to real time operational data in multiple data sources from one intuitive interface, enabling organizations to extend reporting capabilities and make full use of their data.

Entrinsik Informer offers many features used for reporting at CPCC including, but not limited to

  • ERP reporting in both Test and Production environments
  • Document imaging
  • Some real-time dashboarding functionality

Gaining access to Informer

Users must complete Informer Report Reviewer training which is available online in Learner Web in order to receive access to reports.

To gain access to Informer reports, you can log into Web Employee at webemployee.cpcc.edu.  After logging in, select the purple Employees selection on the left hand side.  Several links will appear on the menu and the one you need to select is the College Information Systems Access Request.  After selecting this request twice, fill out the form, selecting Informer for the College system.

Please note:  CPCC’s web forms use ImageNow, which is no longer compatible with the Google Chrome browser.  If you are having an issue filling out this form in Google Chrome, please try accessing the form in Firefox.

The Help Desk responsibilities pertaining to Informer are:

  • The provision of support should any user of the Service encounter any issues or errors
  • Coordinate with the Administrators of ImageNow to address any request beyond the capability of the Help Desk
  • Provide assistance with navigating ImageNow

The following is the predicted resolution time for Service Requests. The priority of a request is determined by the Analyst assisting the client. Several factors are taken into account when assigning a priority including urgency of the request, current backlog of requests, and existence of alternatives.

Upon receipt of your report we will create a record in our tracking system and a tracking number will be provided, either over the phone or via automated email response, that you may use to identify this issue in any subsequent communications.
