NetOp Vision (Classroom Computer Management Software)

NetOp Vision is a Classroom Management Software suite that is currently installed in Technology Enhanced and Smart Computer Classrooms. Through this software, faculty is able to monitor student content, control access to computer systems, remote access student systems in order to assist them, as well as project live feeds to individuals or entire classes.

Features

This software provides the following capabilities and much more:  

  • Monitor content of the student computers
  • Lock classroom computers while lecturing
  • Provide assistance to students by taking control of student computer, or simply Instant Messaging
  • Project live feed of Instructor Station to all, or specific, student computers

During these hours of operation, the Help Desk will respond to any phone calls. However, during busy times, or if a client chooses to leave a voicemail, the Help Desk will return the call to the client within 2 Hours. This is the same for any emails sent to the Help Desk.

Service provided for this software includes:

  • Illustration on how to perform tasks
  • Assistance with any inquiries pertaining to the software
  • Assistance with any errors or issues that might arise
  • Deployment of the software to machines

Several factors are taken into account when assigning a priority including urgency of the request, current backlog of requests, and existence of alternatives.
