Class Email List

Instructors are able to generate automatically class email lists using our Class Email lists feature.  This feature allows instructors to send emails to their students easily from a single address.  These lists are not to be used for mass mailings.  In cases where such an email needs to be sent out, such as to an entire program, are to be sent under guidelines approved by the college cabinet.

Features

Class Email lists facilitate communication from the instructors of a class to the students.  All students will be added to this list if they are registered for the class the list is generated for.

The Help Desk will be available to assist with any requests pertaining to Class Email Lists during the following hours of operation:

During these hours of operation, the Help Desk will respond to any phone calls. However, during busy times, or if a client chooses to leave a voicemail, the Help Desk will return the call to the client within 2 Hours. This is the same for any emails sent to the Help Desk.

How do I access my class email list?

You can put your class information in the Class Email List tool located at https://services.cpcc.edu/courseadmin/general/email_list_tool/.  Once you have put your information into this tool, it will generate the email address for your class.
What if a student who has just recently registered does not show up?
Please wait 24 hours as the system is only updated once a day.
Can my class email list send messages to a student’s personal email account?
For security purposes, it is always required that instructors communicate with their students through their CPCC student email.  Class email lists will not list a student’s personal email account.

Upon receipt of your report we will create a record in our tracking system and a tracking number will be provided, either over the phone or via automated email response, that you may use to identify this issue in any subsequent communications.
