Moodle

http://moodle.cpcc.edu/

Moodle is one of two online learning management systems used by the college.

Instructors have the ability to choose which online learning management system to use.

If you are the instructor of record for a course and would like to use Moodle, you may request your class(es) be made available there using the Course Administration Webtools (https://services.cpcc.edu/courseadmin).

If you are a student, your instructor should notify you if his/her class is being taught in Moodle

Features

Moodle provides but is not limited to, the following capabilities:

  • Online course environments that can contain useful documents and resources for any online aspects an instructor or student would need
  • Online submission and plagiarism checks on all submitted assignments via SafeAssign
  • Online communication and collaboration components to interact with instructors and classmates in geographically disparate areas

Hours

Moodle services are generally available all week, however, they are unavailable 3am - 7 am on Sundays for general maintenance.  There are periodic maintenance outages scheduled at the beginning of each term, which are published on Moodle's front page.

Students
To obtain your login credentials please visit our CPCC Login web site.
If you login and your courses are not listed, please verify your enrollment at http://mycollege.cpcc.edu.

If you are enrolled, but the courses are still unavailable, it may be the case that your course is in Blackboard instead of Moodle. If that is not the case, please contact your instructor. You can look up your instructor's contact information using the college e-Directory or reviewing your course syllabus.

If you are taking online classes for the first time, it is strongly recommended that you complete the online orientations available at http://www.cpcc.edu/distance/orientation.
